Has anyone tried these treats? I am currently trying to get all of Crickets things together and I am needing some treats for when I train her. I have some ideas from searching the forum but couldn't find anything about Smiles Natural Dog Treats. They say they are perfect for toy breeds and puppies. Has anyone tried these? Do yu think they would be ok to give my puppy? Here is the link... Smiles Natural Dog Treats |
My husband and I were just discussing treats last night. The majority of treats the main ingredients are wheat (which many dogs are allergic to and causes skin allergies) and corn syrup. The reason it came up is because I got a trial sample of the Purina Pro Selects in the mail - actually, doesn't look too bad, but the main ingredient is turkey and I prefer chicken over turkey. Anyway, the dogs loved it and did tricks for the little bites until I got bored. It's not because this particular brand tastes so good they think any dog food given by hand, especially a different one then they are usually fed is a treat and the ingredients are far superior than any treat I have found. |
romeo is crazy 4 these zuke's natural treats.:) http://www.zukes.com/shop/index.php?cPath=2_10 |
Gracie loves these treats. They are tiny, made with oat flour and all natural ingredients. Her favorite is the white cheddar. Shelf life is about 2 months, probably longer if kept in the freezer. I store mine in zip-lock freezer bags in the freezer, about one week's worth per bag. http://simonandhuey.com |
I never heard of them. Right now Rocky is on the cookies from the treatbar at Petco..he loves them! He also loves the "Happy Tails" (I think that's what it's called), it's sold at Jewel. My mom has those at her house for Gizmo and Rocky goes crazy over them! And there cheaper too! |
