Woo hoo my monthly trip to Petsmart! I have to be very careful going in there. But this time, I had a shopping list, of things highly recommended from this site. I got the Missing Link. Still hadn't got a leash for Venus yet, so pink leash was also on my list. Hopefully next month, I will get the pink harness. Then I was wandering around and found a thingie you put a bottle of water on, and it had a spoon like thing to hold the water at the bottom...perfect for when I travel. Been wanting one for a while. I looked for petzlife there to clean Adonis teeth, but they didn't have it. So when I got back home, ordered it off petzlife.com. They only charged me 2.50 for shipping!! I was sure delighted about that, as it cost a lot more for Cowboy Magic to get delivered. I had to have a toy for them both....got this little funny looking christmas thing, with red and white ropes for arms and legs. Something they'd both play with, since they have so much fun fighting over the Mardi Gras dragon I gave them! Not any fun unless you can tug a war with eachother. Adonis lets Venus win, since she's just 4-1/2 months and he's 6 years old! Over budget now, lol. Checkout had treats for them....free. I asked if the pets had to be with me, girl said no...get as many as you'd like. Of course, I had to get one of each thing, for both dogs. Now that I have a leash for her, maybe next trip I'll take both of them in with me, lol. Lord help that place next month. Right now, I think thats all I really wanted and needed. Will let you all know how the petzlift works on Adonis's teeth. He's 6 and never had them cleaned:eek: I know, I'm a bad mommie, but I hate the thoughts of putting him under anestesia (sp) for a teeth cleaning. But I'm getting to be a much better mommie now:D |
Let me know next time you go I will give you my list lol sounds like you had a great time. Did you check to see if they had Cowboy Magic there they sell it at our store? |
ooh, sounds like a good trip! I was making my list for my trip to Petsmart this weekend! I don't know why, but I just love shopping for my two babies... I spend way too much on them! |
I didn't see the Cowboy Magic at my store, but we do have 1 here in Mobile that does sell it. But its way out in the boonies. But the ride, is much cheaper than ordering it online! |
I just went to Petsmart yesterday. I bought two new sweaters, a new collar, Scampers chewed his up  , some more missing link, 3 new toys, two of them are for christmas, the other one they get to enjoy now, and a new bed, it is pink and furry. I think I got more stuff, I just can't remember right now, lol. I spent close to $100 though. I try to stay away from petstores, because I know once I go in them I will be coming out with alot of stuff and money spent, lol!! |
I "try" to go in with a list....but don't always work! Like this time. Oh well, babies did need all of it. I was kinda disappointed in the toy. Seems they don't play tug-o-war with it like they do this dragon I caught at Mardi Gras! But wow....they loved the treats! |
What a spending trip you had ! |
Petsmart My Toby just turned one year and Petsmart sent him a coupon for a "free", yes you read right, "FREE" gift...........up to $6.99. Went and got him two of the little soccer balls and didn't even have to pay tax on them. Sent me a coupon for my maltese in August as well. Lots of great things for your pup at Petsmart. I also like Petco too as they have the doggie buffet bar and I get the animal, animal crackers and they just love them. I also bought the Petzlift for my pups although I had been cleaning the maltese's teeth at the vet every year but thought this would be much gentler on them. Also bought the cowboy magic and used it on both the maltese and the yorkie.......smells wonderful and works well too. I also have the Petsilk "liquid silk" and it pretty nice.....but I think the smell of the cowboy magic is just a little better, at least to my nose.:D Neither like smelling sweet though but they are willing to submit to it.:animal-pa |
