I am sorry Stewie had a reaction - Peanut did too. He was so sick that we ended up taking back into the vet the next day after he had thrown up about 5 times in only a matter of a few minutes. As a follow-up, does anyone know if it is common for the injection site to have a hard bump for a while? The vet said it will go away, but it has been 3 weeks and I am beginning to wonder. It has shrank in size some, but it is still there. Anyone have any experience/knowledge on this? |
Hi AYork. Stewie's bumb is almost completely gone! Hope Peanut gets better soon. |
I heard that they are supposed to rub the injection site to prevent this but they don't always. Hefner had the lump too and it went away completely after a few weeks. |
Awwwwwhhh Poor Stewie and poor MOMMY ! I hope he gets better through the night and that you get some rest tomorrow. *hugs* |
Awww...poor Stewie! I'm glad he's feeling a little better today though :) |
Just had this happen to sabrina too... Vet said Quote:
Vet took it in his fingers and rolled it, and said for me to rub it often for a few days that the antibiotic had "encapsulated" and it would make it work it's way through the skin if I just rubbed it. It worked - was gone in a couple of days. |
