Should I call the Vet? My yorkie is a year old. We had our yard and home sprayed yesterday for fleas. The exterminator told me that once the spray dried it would be fine for my dogs...but when I let her out to do her business this morning I caught her trying to eat grass...then on my way to work she started acting like she was going to get sick but she didn't...she's been gagging ever since then...should I call the vet? |
I would! The poison is still in the grass, if you don't call your vet, call poison control. |
if shes not acting right definitely call your vet...its always better to be safe |
I agree. Just call the vet and see what they think. Just calling them won't cost you anything. It's better to be safe than sorry. Hope your little one is alright. |
I called the vet... I called the vet because Gucci got worse...she threw up a couple of times day before yesterday, then today she started gagging again... and everytime I take her out she tries to eat grass...we just bought another 7 week old yorkie and I've taken him to the vet and he checked out good but today he started coughing and gagging...I'm feeding him Nuto puppy food. I'm feeding Gucci Nutro dog food. The vet said keep an eye on her and if she got worse bring her in...I think she is about to come in heat, would that make her sick to her stomach ? This will be the first time for her. Or could it be the food? I started feeding her the Nutro about 2 weeks ago because her hair was looking bad and I heard that it was especially good for a healthy coat. I'm really worried. All the sickness seems to have started since we brought our new puppy home...but the vet said he didn't have any problems...Any advice would be greatly appreciated:confused: |
I would bring her in just to be safe. Hope she's feeling better. |
