Puppy or Adult Dog Dry Food? My nine-month old puppy, Kasey, eats about two rounded tablespoons a day of dry food. She's been eating Eukanuba and Iams combined, but I'm going to try switching her to Chicken Soup brand, based on the emails I've read here. She especially likes to eat dry food when she has to "work" for it (either fetch the ball or pour the food out of her little Kong toy). Before ordering the Chicken Soup dry food, I'm wondering if you have any recommendations about whether I should mix puppy and adult food of that brand, or stick with just puppy or just adult food? I seem to recall the Vet saying it's okay to move to adult food at six months, but I'm not sure. Second, is the Chicken Soup dry food for adults made up of chunks too big for a Yorkie, based on your experience? Thanks!! (Great website!!) Kim |
Stick to puppy food until 1 year..Chicken Soup is great..Cali looves it! |
My vet told me to wait until 12-16 months. |
