milk bone treats ok or noq Are milkbone small puppy bones are good treat for our babies or no? |
As far as I know, I think they're okay, but just not too much, as they probably won't eat their regular food if filled up on treats. If they are larger milk bones, you can break them up to smaller pieces. I do give them to Maddie now and then and she loves them! |
I think milkbones are fine in moderation - my parents give them to their Lhaso ALL the time and he LOVES them! :) |

Milk Bones are like doggy junk food. They aren't BAD, but they aren't so good either. Like everyone said, feed them in moderation. If you can find them in your area, I would switch to an all natural, human food grade biscuit. I feed those to my girls and they love them just as well, and I feel better about giving them those. |
do you mean milkbones as in literally milkbones or the company treat called milkbones? because i bought the treats called "Milkbones" and Oreo almost choked on it. so i stick to cheerios. |
When I say "milk bone" I mean the brand. In general, I call them dog biscuits or dog cookies. |
Schatzie has had them since we adopted her and has always enjoyed them. With any treat, moderation is the key. I love the milk bone sticking out Schatzie's mouth, too cute!!! She has to prance around with it for awhile as she feels too darn proud then she eats it. "Crazy Girl" :p |
then yea those are the ones, Oreo almost choked on! i got the "small" sized ones, but he managed to get it stuck in his mouth/throat.. very scary. so just be careful! |
