Yorkie Bite Does anybody know how to tell if a Yorkie is beginning to obtain a bad bite? Schatzie will be 5 months old tomorrow and so far her bite looks fine. She still has all her baby teeth from what I can tell. Does the bad bite begin to take place one those adult teeth begin to come in? I've seen some pretty bad bites on Yorkies so I am very concerned that I do not see the same on Schatzie. Just curious if there are any signs to watch out for. Thanks! :) |
Bite If at 5 months her bite is correct, it will no doubt stay good. Of course, it can go under or over, but is would be slight. I do not recall a perfect bite at 5 months turning into a majorly bad over or under bite later. I have seen a correct bite go under slightly when the adult teeth come in..also a slight under bite can correct..a waiting game. |
I took my baby to the groomer on Saturday because I was unable to clip her nails what with all her squirmming :p . I had to leave her there for 2 hours which killed me but the groomer is located in the vet's office and he appeared to be very kind and gentle. Since Sunday my baby has had diarrhea :( . Not constantly but at least twice in the middle of the night each night since then. She still runs around like nuts  and although she's eating, she's not as entusiastic towards the food as pre-Saturday. Any suggestions out there? |
Usually diarrhea just runs its course, only thing I would suggest is not to give her any new foods and try to stick with her basic diet. |
Yorkiesrule ... sorry your baby is sick! First thing I would do is get her to the vet to be checked, but I'm accused of being over-protective! :o The main thing is make sure she drinks plenty of liquid ... when they have diarrhea there is always danger of dehydration! If it persists I would definately get her to the vet. Please keep us updated! ;) |
