Dry nose I know that a dry nose is supposed to indicate illness, but the other night Rocky's nose was dry, and he didnt seem to show any other signs or symptoms of being sick. He wasn't dehydrated either. Does anyone know why a dogs nose would be dry if they aren't sick? |
I would think that a dry nose could mean he may be dehydrated, is he getting enough water? With it being so hot and humid out they need plenty of water. A dog sitting in a hot place may also have a dry nose temporarily. |

That was my first guess, but he was urinating and drinking water. If he was dehyrdated, he would go pee. Also, he was in our room, where he usually is. He really wasn't outside that much that night. |
I hope he is better now! give him a hugg and a kisssy for me! |
