Innova vrs Chicken Soup Hi all - I'm sure this has been covered once or twice BUT - I really want to change from Iams. My oldest Yorkie has skin issues, itching ALL the time. And I want the best for the others as well. Which is better? Innova or Chicken Soup? Innova isn't available near me but I could order it online. Chicken Soup is sold at my local Pet Supplies Plus. I want the BEST for my babies! All your input would be appreciated! |
I'm not sure how the two compare, but Chicken Soup is always rated high so if it convenient, then why not go for it??? |
I definately think that if Chicken Soup is convenient, you should go with that. They are both EXCELLENT dog foods. I feed mine Chicken Soup for the simple fact that they don't like Innova. |
I've never tried Inova.... My girls are on Chicken "Poop" (long story!)and they LOVE IT!! I'd say you've got two great choices... go for whats easy for you! from what I hear they are both great! From what I know.... CS is Wonderfull!!!!! My girls won't eat anything else I bring home! |
I've never tried chicken soup before but I feed TeeJay Innova and he seems to enjoy it (and he's very picky!) I've noticed that since I've changed his diet from Eukanuba to Innova, his breath has smelled SOOOOOO much better. His coat is also silkier. Overall, I give Innova 2 thumbs up. I'm very pleased with the product. But I've also heard great things about chicken soup so since it's more convenient for you to obtain that, maybe you should try that. Whichever decision you choose to make will be a good choice! |
Is Chicken Soup hard kibble or wet food? I need to get Tiger to eat more as he was diagnosed as slightly underweight  and so maybe I can give him some of this. He loves Merrick wet and lots of Innova dry puppy food but he can sure be picky sometimes and not want to eat . . |
If you decide to order I can send you a good link for a discount:) |
Chicken Soup vs Innova, Chicken Soup!!!!! I say Chicken Soup!!! I tried the Innova, but none of them liked it. I have them on Chicken Soup which they all love PLUS it has fatty acids and other natural ingredients in it that help the skin and coat. Since I have put mine on it, their skin is no longer dry, they have beautiful healthy and shiny hair!! I have seen such a HUGE difference since I have put them on Chicken Soup!!!! So, I highly recommend it!!! I get mine at Pet Supplies Plus and I love this brand and am very happy with it and will always feed them this. I have tried some many different brands, this is the one brand that they love and is highly quality food and really helps improve their skin and coat. I give it   |

Lola didn't like Innova. She will eat her Chicken Soup though. |
I think I'm going to switch Kona to Chicken Soup. I just ordered a sample of it from the company. Kona seems to pick at her Innova and Merrick's mix. |
Another reason I like Chicken Soup is because the kibbles are SO tiny, especially in the puppy formula. Mine won't touch anything that it too big...I even have to break up their treats or they won't eat them. They are so spoiled  |

Well I chose Chicken Soup. I went out and bought puppy and adult and I'm changing the whole crew over! I can't wait to see the results. My oldest Yorki has itchy dry skin about 11 months out of the year. I'd love to see him stop itching! |
My 2 girls didn't like either. If you go on line alot of companies send out free samples if you ask. We went through alot before finding something they enjoy eating. |

1 Attachment(s) We went through, Eukanuba, which I hear is not good, Misha's breeder was using this. Purina Pro plan ho Hum recommened by Misha's groomer Innova, didn't like at all Science Diet, only because the breeder said she was eating it for Piper, Ha! Chicken Soup, wouldn't touch it. Nutro Natural Choice, heard good things about it. Wrote for free samples. They wouldn't touch it. PRO PAC, absolutely love. Got it at the Small pet store, they don't sell to large ones. Go to ProPac.com it's sounds great also. Happened to run into a distributor at the pet store I shop. He said it was 100% guaranteed. Bring it back if they didn't like it. Well, they do. Finally A food they will eat. Mine are very picky. Some days Misha will turn her nose up to cooked chicken If I don't prepare it right. Oven cooked only.. Got to love Em. |

I feed my babies a combo (for variety) of Blue Buffalo, Merrick and I am going to add Chicken Soup to their diet because my new baby girl Cali is eating that right now. I've heard it's an excellent brand -- very healthy and delicious! |
Mine wouldnt eat either they will only eat royal Canin |

Everyone here gets Innova and love it (or maybe it's te Nupro that is sprinkled on top...) but I use a 50/50 blend for the pups of the puppy and EVO (because the kibbles are smaller and Roxy loves that!) Havent' tried Chicken Soup |
