Purnia one
 

:confused: I always feed both girls Purnia One Lamb & Rice. I bought a new bag this past week and after Taffy had eaten her bowl. That night she had dirriaha in her crate and off and on during the next day. :confused:
This happened for a few days & nights off and on. My groomer told me to contact Purnia and ask them if they had changed any of the ingrediants.
Guess what they had!!!!!!:( They Purnia person on some small breeds it would cause the reaction that Taffy was having. She suggested I find the old bag since this was a small town. I went out and found one at the second store I stopped at. I took the bag in the bathroom and opened it with my keys:) nad sure enough it was the old type :thumbs_up :cheer: :cheer:
Taffy snarfed it up when I brought it home and now every thing is back to normal.... I was getting pretty worried about her few days of problems.

I'm glad she's feeling better! How irresponsible of Purina One to change ingredients without some sort of warning! :mad:

Purnia contacted me and they are going to send a coupon for a free back of their dog food. I thought this was kind of them since they cause the upset.
My groomer said she has found the same problem with the type of dog food she uses.:(
Taffy is happy with her food now. Thank goodness.
This is just another lesson to remember. Don't always trust the same old dog food.

make sure you compare the Ingredients to other brands, such as Nutro Ultra, Wellness. If you look at your bag and see any meat that has "by product" next to it, then thats a bad sign.

No Artificial Preservatives such as EQ, BHA, and BHT
Artificial preservatives are inappropriate for a daily diet, as they have no nutritional value and may be harmful in excess.
Scientific studies have linked EQ (ethoxyquin), BHA (Butylated hydroxyanisole), and BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) with certain types of cancer in humans, and there is little information regarding the safety of long-term use for pets.

No Excessive Sweeteners
