Petmeds, on-line meds???? Hi!! So here's a question that I've been wanting to ask....Does anyone order from petmeds, or any other on-line service for there furbabie's meds like frontline, etc.?? The vet charges alot every time I go in, and I was wondering if any other distributor would be a cheaper way?? Can anyone please give me any money saving tips when it comes to medications??!! Thanks.. :D ~lizette |
I just got advantage a 4 month supply for $18 on ebay. They had frontline too. I looked to see if they had heartquard but they didnt have it darn. |
I have ordered from PetMeds, but it doesn't seem to be any cheaper than at the vet. There are 2 sites that I have found that sell flea meds at a really reduced rate. Here are the site: http://www.pets-megastore.com.au/adv...41ed3a5276f4a7 http://www.dog.com/search.asp?SKW=frontline&searchcat= |
My vet just gave me a HUGE money saving tip! I use Revolution on my dogs. At the vet, it's the same price if I'm paying for the dose for small dogs, or the dose for large dogs. So he had me buy the dose for large dogs, then just use a 1/4 ml of it. That way, I get 4 uses out of one tube! I also use: www.valleyvet.com & www.revivalanimal.com |
Thanks so much everyone!! This really helps :) |
In case anyone was curious, I checked all these sites for Frontline, and it seems that http://www.pets-megastore.com.au/adv...ed3 a5276f4a7 has the best price for Frontline...only $56.00 for a 6 pack (vs. $59.00 and $64.00 on the other sites)!!!!! |
1800Petmeds I was comparing prices on K9 Advantix, and I found 1800petsmeds to be extremely expensive! I buy mine from Drs. Foster & Smith  |
Revolution is a lot cheaper from Petmeds than my Vet. I just got the prescription from my Vet & sent it in, My Vet wouldn't fax it to them. |
just to let everyone who buys from online sources, the companies that produce these medication will not hold to the guarentee if they are not purchased at a vets office. if they fail to work and your dogs gets a tick and then contracts lymes disease or something like that, the company will not pay for the damages because they were purchased from a third party. i've bought my cats revolution from petmeds and there is a very small chance of it not working because he's been on it before and i know it works. So if your comfortable with how the product has been working on your pet then i say go for it and get it from a cheaper source. if not, get it from your vet. Even if your vet doesn't supply the meds you want, they can get it for you. |
Thanks Kellie that is good to know |
I searched different sites and found that www.bullwrinkle.com had the best prices. My vet actually matched their costs which was a great deal. |

i used pet meds also for advantix... cheaper than my vet.... |
Huge Savings Go to Canadavet.com The heartgard is almost half price The Frontline is a bit cheaper Shipping is usually free and arrives at your door, one word of caution though it does take about 10 days to 2 wks to receive. I have been ordering from this company for a year now and have been very satisfied. ;) |
