Chicken Soup vs. Merricks... Which is better and why?? My two LOVE Chicken Soup, but so many people on here feed Merricks and their dogs seem to LOVE it. So, aside from which one your yorkie prefers, which one is actually the healthiest? Any opinions? |
Chicken soup is a very good food I am not sure about Merricks. I wont buy the moist Merricks because it has bones in it. I was so bummed because my yorkies wont eat the chicken soup. |
I feed Lexie Merricks and she LOVES it!! By the way.... there are only 2 varities of the wet food (and there are at least 6 or 7 choices) that have bones in them, and I do avoid them since I am a worry wart!! One is wing-a-ling and I can't recall the name of the other. It is clearly marked on the front of the can when you read it. Lexie's favorite is Grammys Pot Pie. I mix a few teaspoons of the canned food in with the Merricks dry food. She gobbles it up!! |
After trying Merricks, Innova, Wellness, and Chicken Soup I have finally found food that they all agree on and love!! I tried the Merricks, Trixie liked it but Scampers would not touch it. Then I tried Innova and Scampers liked it real well but Trixie would not touch it. The wellness they were both alright with, but it was just something they would eat if they had to, they liked it but did not go crazy over it. So finally I tried the Chicken Soup and they both loved it!! The ate it up so fast, I could not believe it!! Even my newest addition, Poptart, loved it!! I think all of these brands are great dog food, each one has great ingredients and are the best for your dog's health. That being said, since they are all great products, let your dog choose which one they like the best. Mine chose and they are happy with their choice!! By the way, Thank You Rebecca for sending me the sample of Chicken Soup, I am so happy that they love it!!!:D :D |

Today, I need to go buy more dog food. I'm going to get the Chicken Soup and try that out. I've heard so much about it over the past year and now going to actually do it!;) |
