Spade Ruby is going in for her operation today. I'm a little nervous and don't know what to expect tomorrow when she comes home. The vet is all taking out her baby teeth if her adult teeth are coming in. Anyway been here yet  |
I know how worried you must be,but try to stay calm and not think about it.If it makes you feel any better, just keep telling your self that vets do this every single day,so its quite a normal thing.Your baby will be a bit sore when she gets back, she will want to sleep and just be left alone the first night, but after day 2 they start to act as if nothing happened! You have to make sure they dont jump and run around for a few days which isnt easy because they dont seem to realise whats happened and start acting as they usually would..lol.Your baby will be fine;) Have a cup of coffee, watch a movie..do something to take your mind off of the whole thing and before you know it,its over:) |
Thanks for the response that makes me feel a lot better. Its hard to communicate with your puppy and you don't know how they are feeling. I will keep you posted. Thanks |
Great advice already...good luck with the procedure and keep us posted:) |
I understand how you feel- I was a nervous wreck when Macie went for her surgery. I couldn't eat, couldn't relax- she was on my mind every minute that I was separated from her. My vet understood on nervous we were and called us the minute surgery was over to let us know that everything went fine and she was resting comfortably. That helped to relieve some of our anxiety, still didn't sleep until she was back home though... |
