Something in feces
 
It was about an inch and a half long, kinda flat. Orange in color.It was transparent looking and looked hollow with a round opening on one end. Almost tubular looking,but flattened.:eek: :eek: I'm calling the vet tommorrow. His last fecal was in December,05 neg. If anyone thinks this could be worms ,what kind? I looked at pics and didn't see anything that looked the same.

Also he has been hacking a few times a day for the last three days,like something is in his throat.

It sounds like a child's water balloon! :dogwalk: Do you have kids? Or maybe a piece of something in the house like a plastic bag or a piece of a pen? It's strange that you found this at the same time this Hacking started. Maybe something is blocking the wind pipe or lodged in the esophagus. It seems that there may be a correlation here. Calling the vet would be a wise discission. I'll say a little Prayer for him :hands: and Keep us posted.

When I first seen it it reminded me of a tomatoe skin.With a closer look it wasn't. I wished I would have saved it for the vet to look at.

If you didn't flush it, I would dig though the garbage for it, but that's me. I know not everybody can do that kind of stuff, LOL.

I know i always inspect my Rocky's poop my boyfriend thinks i am crazy but i want to know what he's eating then once i inspect i flush sorry i know it sounds gross :)

I flushed it. I usually look at his poop to. not througly though,just a glance.

maybe it was a piece of a straw? most worms are white and look like pieces or rice. keep checking poopy maybe it was just something he chewed up but if it is worms he would have more than just one piece.

I also do it because it's the best way to see if what she eats is good for her.

My boyfriend thinks its gross but i like to know what he eats during the day while im at work.
