Not eating? I recently switched Kona off Purina and over to Innova. The first day of the mix was great. She ate all of the Innova and none of the Purina. I continued to mix the two for a few days. I gave her Innova this morning before I left for work. When I got back this afternoon she had only eating a few bites. Should I be concerned about Innova? Should I switch to something else? I feel bad for switching so much, but I want to find something that she will eat. |

Hmmmm, how old is she? She has to eat, maybe mix some boiled chicken in the food. Princess is three, and a very picky eater. I tried everything. Please keep us posted.:) |

She ate some, but not even more than a 1/4 cup of dry food per day. Could it be that she doesn't like Innova? I guess I'll head back to the pet store tonight to buy something else. Recommendations? What has worked for your picky eaters? |

Mine are picky eaters but eat Royal Canin good. It comes in small kibbles and I think they like that. |

Sadie Mae is 2 1/2 yrs old and has always been a picky eater...I tried EVERYTHING!! I now have her on wellness brand (all human grade products) I do have to add some chicken to her kibbles...She will occasionally eat just her kibbles but not usually. I used to boil perdue chicken breasts and just cut it up in her food...Now I buy the ground chicken and boil that (sounds yummy huh!) The reason behind boiling is it takes out alot of the fat...then I rinse, rinse, rinse..to get the rest of the fat out. Somedays she will eat more than others but. Good Luck! |

Our Angel also eats Royal Canin (Junior) very small kibble. When she reaches 6 maands we will feed Her Royal Canin Yorkshire Terrier 28. It has everything the yorkie needs plus tartar reduction. We think it is a very good food for our Angel. AngelsMomnPops |

I feed a total of 12 Yorkies of all ages so I mix BilJac and Royal Canin depending on the age of the dgs. Puppies get RC baby and BilJac puppy..2 parts BJ and 1 part RC. Adults get BilJac and RC MINI as the RC Yorkie has a high protein count 28%. I have been hearing that they really could get by with 22-24% protein. I bought Solid Gold and Artemis and since they are small and look exactly alike, I decided to taste them...I cannot tell the difference but I will have to read the ingredients. My personal opinion is that changing their foods so much can creat fussy eaters. Guess that's why I do it, huh? LOL My 2 pound Biewers eat as much as my 4+ pound Bewer male and also as much as Marlee did. Spoiled brats is what mine are..How bout yours?? |

Well everything seems to be fine tonight...By the time I got home from work she had finished what I put out in the morning and she ate most of her dinner. Maybe it was just very hot yesterday and she didn't burn up too much. Thanks for all of the comments and support! You guys are wonderful!!:D |
