Need UK Info I am going to get LiL Moe "fixed" since he cannot breed due to his geneology, and he is beginning to mark allot! I have been researching the procedure and such, but am having trouble finding info on UK standards, is it common for a UK vet to use Isoflurane gas instead of injection? as I hear this is the safest way.I also hear Acepromezaine is the best pre anestetic, so when I go in, since i am paying..in the UK am I allowed to request what I want used on my baby? I am afraid of the whole trachea bit, as Moe does sound raspy on his own, this is why i would like gas if i am allowed to choose. Is there any UK parents out there who can give me the low down on whats standard for the UK as far as toy breed surgery is concerned? I'm a nervous mommy I know, but I always research EVERYTHING that has to do with any of my pets, right down to the guineas pigs and rabbits. Thanks for any advice or reassurances. |
