Bad Breathe Hi everyone, I've noticed the past couple of days now that Tiki has some seriously bad breathe. His adult canine teeth are coming in, but his puppy ones aren't falling out, do you think this could be triggering the bad breathe? I'm going to make him a vet appointment to get the puppy teeth pulled, but until then, I was just wondering if anyone had any idea about what the heck could be causing my baby to have such terribel breathe  I hope he doesn't have some sort if infection in his mouth. Thanks a lot! |
Tiki THAT'S EXACTLY IT! Get those disiduous teeth pulled and that will help, but after that you'll need to create some sort of hygene maintenence program or the bad breath will come back for other reasons. |
Teething does cause bad breath. You should probably hold off on pulling the extra teeth until about 7 months so you can get them all in one procedure. Burt's Bees makes a natural liquid breath freshener (for man and beast) that works pretty well. It comes with an eye dropper and I take a few drops and then mine line up for theirs. |
Where can you purchase the drops? Does anyone else use drops for bad breath?? |
I thought I saw those drops at Petsmart. Chachi had bad breath when he was teething too:aimeeyork |
I buy them at Sun Harvest which is a natural type grocery store with a vitamin, herb department. The brand Burt's Bees is usually sold in health stores. |
my moms dog , remy, has bad breath. after she had some extractions and a cleaning it went away. |
My pup had reallllllly bad breath too! I love her kisses, but they STINK!! haha. She is 6 months old, and teething so I was assuming that is what it was. I've actually found a few of her teeth on her blanket in her pen. Does anyone know when does teething completely stops? -Ashley & Emmy |
