Calcium? When Layla was 4 months old, her vet switched her to hypo-allergenic adult food, from the eukenuba puppy food she was eating. Now I've read that puppies need more calcium in their first year than adult food provides. Layla's not tiny, she's probably 5 or more pounds now at 6 months, but she always jumps and now I'm worried her bones might not be as strong as they should be, or she might have problems later on. Should I be supplementing her food with something? |
you can always give her some yogurt, cottage cheese, or regular cheese. |

My dogs have always eaten quite a bit of cheese - and cottage cheese occasionally also. Carol Jean |
Try giving her yogurt drops it's a good source of calcium and your li'l baby will like it! :D I get it at Petsmart it's about $ 2.89 I think and its a good treat too!!! My Queen lily loves it!!! ,hope this helps!!! :p Queen Lily :aimeeyork & Mommy Lene :animal-pa |
