Anyone use Revolution? We have always used it on our cats for flea and tick prevention...and love it! Both of our cats had fleas when we got them and you could litterally see the fleas falling off of them!!! Anyway, just wondering if anyone had ever used it on their yorkie? |

When they were treating Chachi for Mites the vet gave us the revolution for him. |

Revolution vs. Frontline Does anyone have any thoughts about which is better (Revolution or Frontline)? Our vet told us we should start this in April. I was planning on just using Frontline as it's what the vet recommended but had never hear of Revolution. |
I had a breeder once tell me never to use Reveloution because she had a couple of dogs die from it so I have never used Reveloution. I used Frontline on my Golden and it just didn't seem to work that well. :thumbdown |
I actually use K9-Advantix on my yorkies. The only difference is that it also protects from moskitoes. |

I have just checked and I use Advantage Multi. It covers most worms,ticks and earmites,as well as fleas.Works well for us.We have used it every month since I got my girl at 8 weeks. |
those of you who do use Revolution, do you use Heartguard as well? My vet that I don't like doesn't seem to think I should use Revolution and Heartgaurd, but that's cuz he wants me to buy Frontline from him I think!! Anyway, just wondering if anyone knows if this would be bad or something? Melissa |
I use revolution on some of dogs, some of them are allergic to it they will get a rash, my cat and my cocker will actually lose hair if you put them on it, I can only use advantage on them, everything else they are allergic to. Revolution works great for the dogs that I do put it on though, have not had a single flea, tick, or ear mites. If you get frontline you would have to get frontline plus, frontline itself does not work very good. I would never use heartguard and revolution, my vet would freak out, they always told me it has to be one or the other, you don't want to overdose them since revolution has a heartworm prevenatative in it already. Atleast this is what all the vets here tell their clients. |
