Heartbreaker March 9, 2006 Mosquito season is coming. Is your dog protected against heartworm? Mosquitoes transmit heartworm and can infect your pet with a single bite. By the time symptoms appear, infection may be well established and life-threatening. A chronic cough, shortness of breath, and listlessness are possible signs of heartworm, though often there are no symptoms. Although treatment is available, it is preferable to prevent heartworm. Schedule an appointment with your vet to discuss the options available if you live in an area with mosquitoes. health@dogage.com |

we take the tablet all year around. :) |
yup, just applied revolution to my babies. |
GOOD REMINDER ! My girls are on it year round and if anyone saw what those disgusting worms do to a dogs heart...they would make sure they're protected. For the record...the treatment for heartworms is awful for the dog and expensive. Far better to prevent !! I had a panic a month ago and thought I skipped a month...my cocker Tessa started having this little dry cough......I took her to the vet asap and had her tested and the dr. told me she should be protected even if I was late or missed...but it was STILL Scary. |
I just got Cali's supply of Revolution. I a=have never used it on her does anyone know of any side effects? |
