Bil-Jac
 

Has anyone tried Bil-Jac dog food with their dogs? I received a sample in the mail of it and let my little guy try it and he loves it. But I am not sure. I would like other opinions. :thumbup: :thumbdown

I used to feed mine Bil-Jac. They loved it. One nice thing about it is it does not swell up in the stomach. I've been thinking about getting it again. Oh yea, their stools are smaller to. ;)

I feed Bil-Jac and my girl likes it. :thumbup:

I can't feed it to Tigger. He gets horrible gas from it.

Our breeder gave us frozen BilJac when we got Toto ... that's what she feeds her babies. She wouldn't eat a bite of it for us ... :p We rushed her to the vet ... terrified that she was about to drop dead from malnutrition ... started giving her vet formula NutriCal 4 times a day and changed her food! ;)

We used to use the differant big name products, even ones the vet recommended. However we found they all made our yorkie itch like crazy. A friend recommended Biljac. We tried it and 7 years later we still use it everyday(we use the dry dog food). It doesn't contain pesticides like some of the other products and the main ingredients are chicken by products (organs only including the liver) corn,chicken, egg etc.

"By products" are chicken parts that have been all cooked together. Don't us humans do that when we have left over chicken? After all, what is chicken soup made of? There are many humans in the world that use the ENTIRE chicken in their meals

They claim to use high quality chicken. Also they claim not to "add" additional fat to the product as it's already occurring naturally in the products they make the food out of.

I'm a big believer in BilJac. Ever since we put her on it shes never had allergy problems, itching or any other symptoms.He coat has never been better. Now that she is older we have her on the Reduced Fat formula.

I'm sure there are those amongst us that are just passionate about the premium brand of dog food that they feed their dogs.

I feed all 10 pups and dogs BilJac and RC for the appropriate age.. Have used BilJac for years and like it for them..

BilJac is junk. It contains the chemical preservative BHA. I wouldn't feed it if they gave it to me for free.

I like to use Bil-Jac puppy when weaning pups. It is very small and easy to chew. My puppies do fine on it! :thumbup:

I don't like the ingredients. The first ingredient is by-products. Yuck:
