biting her leg heyy againn LoL .. I was just wonderingg if its normal for pixie to be biting her back leg alot . Yesterday i went to the vet and i was not to happy they didnt even check her for fleas or ask me any questions about her diet or anything like that . I already bought a puppy package with all the vaccinations so im stuck at this place. Is this normal? |
Does Pixie have any upcoming vet appointments? Maybe make a list of questions (as you think of them at home) that you want to ask your vet. Then take the list with you to the office to prompt you to ask. My vet didn't ask too much about Frankie at first, but once she saw the list, she picked it up and gave me tons of fabulous information and answered each question. I keep a "diary" for Frankie at home, which includes questions for his vet and answers from past vet visits, any behaviors I'm concerned about, and his measurements to track his growth over time. It sounds cumbersome, but its helpful once the vet appointments roll around. |
Perhaps allergies? I've heard that many time a dog/puppy will bite their foot/paw because of food allergies. Next time you see you vet, ask him again. If he doesn't answer you ask him again until he does. He is there to answer your questions. That is part of what you are paying him to do. Here is how to check for flea: Part the coat and if you see any fleas. Else check for specks of dust like black pepper on the skin. |
