sensitive stomach sometimes blood with diarrhea What causes a 7-pound yorkie to have a sensitive stomach with sometimes diarrhea with blood? I read about the allergy shot which I thank you for that. I don't know exactly on how to answer anyone on this page, but I appreciate anyone that does. I have been putting pumpkin in with fromm wet dog food and some fromm dry to help with his stool. What is this blood in the stool? It scares me to death. The first time my dog got sick was horrible. I was feeding him cooked turkey. He started vomiting and bled from the other end. I took him to the vet and he told me what to do plus gave him medicine which he get better, thank God. That happened once. The vet said no more turkey for him. he will be 5 this Jan 5. Three times since then I see a little blood in his stool, but I think his stool was a little hard. I give him petlab probiotic and mix some pumpkin to help his stool. Any other input, I would appreciate for my little man. Thank you very much!!! |
This is something you need to go to the vet about because it could be many things and all of them would require treatment from the vet anyway. |
I called but the vet is on vacation, so next week, I will. Love your picture of your pups. |
There have been two occasions that my dog has had blood in his stool. Off to the went we go. There could be several this happens. A YT member can tell you their dog had it and what caused it, but that would not mean that's what your dogs has. You take to dog to the vet immediately, that is the only person that would know what is causing bloody stool. You you posted this thread on 8/11 it is now the 19th, 8 days you have not taken your dog to any vet, and your are going to wait until next week to get your dog to a vet. Unbelievable.!!!!! The longer you wait, the sicker your dog will be come. PLEASE go to any vet NOW, do not wait for your vet to com back from vacation. Most vets have recording of who to see in case of emergency, dog has blood in stool to me, that's an emergency. |
