My babies HATE Canadea I just bought that Canadea (sp) for my babies because I heard it was so good....They dont like it at all, Im so upset....I really want them to LOVE something that is good for them...I was going to try the innova but I cant find it around here and Bella may have a liver shunt (testing) so I want to keep her protein downa and I heard innova was high. |
Isn't it so upsetting when you want them to eat some good food and they turn they're nose at it? I'm feeding my gang Solid Gold Hunden-flocken and they really do like it. It's a very good dry kibble. I've heard that the Innova does have high protein content. Here's the solid gold website www.solidgoldhealth.com maybe you could ask them to send some samples and they might, it's worth a try. Is there a flavor guarantee on Canadae, to where maybe you could take it back and get a refund?... |
I had the same experience with it. I'm feeding Solid Gold wee bites now and they are scarfing it down. |

My Babies Hate Canadae I guess I am very lucky because I have 2 specialty pet food stores equidistant in opposite directions from me. I have been able to get lots of free samples of dry food to try on my pups before I buy the 5 or 6 lb. size bags. I first try giving it as a treat for when they have been good outside. If they like that I add a small amount to their regular dry food and then increase the amount a bit each day. I have recently substituted the Canadae for the Chicken Soup Puppy that I was using and they loved it. I am mixing the Canadae with Merrick Puppy Plate and they are eating well, (and they are picky eaters.) However, I have found that the Canadae has increased the number of BMs they have daily so I have made up my dry mixture with 2/3 Puppy Plate and 1/3 Canadae. Wherever you buy your Canadae, ask if they have free samples so you don't waste your money. I have already been down that road!! |
