Callie dental
 
Well Callie is scheduled for her dental! I’m nervous because she is 11 and a half. She also has her health issues like Cushings, IBD, Hypothyroidism, and mild collapsing trachea. I’m not going to be able to keep to the regular “ritual” I do when any of them are under anesthesia to so that makes my anxiety even worse. She gets a recheck for another issue on Friday so we will get blood work then and her dental is the 23rd. She is my heart so this is very stressful for me so prayers and good thoughts for both of us please.

Girl, I understand. I begin stressing the minute I schedule any of Jackson's appointments. I can't even function all day ugh.

But you're a good mom, you do all the right things, and get the preop bloodwork. I just know Callie will do amazingly! All the hugs to you!

I hear you loud and clear! My Cali is 10 and due her next dental. She has never had a problem, but I always worry because of her age. She is healthy though. So I sit near by in the waiting room during Cali’s entire dental procedure!

Thanks everyone. Penny has a training class at 10am for an hour that day so I know that will keep me some busy but I still will be stressed.

Does she really need that dental? My JoJo is 7. I brush his teeth every night with cet mint vanilla toothpaste. He loves it. He is very sensitive and nervous. I am not getting dental on him yet. Daisy. Got hers. NO problem. I was very nervous. Prayers for. your sweet little dog. Is it more serious with collapsed trachea. That would concern me.

She difenitly needs it. It’s been a year and she already is a 3/4 and has signs of gingivitis. Best month to do it also because it’s 20% off this month. It’s mild collapsing trachea and since they intubate during the dental it will keep it from collapsing during the dental.

Blood work came back the same as it did when she had her yearly blood work in March. Bun is slightly elevated but that’s not new. She’s clear for a dental. That will be on Tuesday and I’m so stressed out.

So glad her blood work came back with such good results. I know it will be so hard to wait these last few days, but the dental will be behind you in less than a week. Try to lessen the worry by finding something to do each day that you know will make you, and your beautiful babies, happy. There are many here who will be thinking good thoughts, and sending love your way!
