Thank you, good to know. But I did have quality control issues some time ago with Wellness. But they probably are ok now. |

My dog got sick and the color of the kibble looked different. I think the spray they put on at the end to give it smell and taste was variable. It may also have had different ingredients in the spray, who knows?? I stopped using it and went over to the Hills. |

Not sure if you knew about this but a while back a brand got caught selling dog food with a chemical agent found in pet euthanasia drugs. Granted it was found in very small amounts in said dog food. Which is illegal to put in pet food in any quantity of it. But my question is raised as to how such dog food came in contact with a drug used to put other dogs (among other animals) to their eternal rest. Perhaps that food contains animals that aren't slaughtered/butchered? Perhaps it comes from poor ol' yeller whom was too old and in too much pain and had to be put down? Furthermore, wasn't said company found out to contain such chemicals from the 1990s? Now I am not saying this applies to any of the foods you have mentioned but this is why I am highly cautious with foods. |

My old vet had said making home cooked meals is a lot harder because you need to be able to balance it properly. Very little room for error in terms of precision. I need to get her to the vet to check what her target weight should be. |
