My girl is 15w old and a chewer.. when it comes to door frames, carpet and anything metal. I purchased every chew toy recommended we also own several toys like kongs but nothing really gets her attention. :confused:

However she does love dried salmon/duck/lamb treats. Now I've seen that pig ears are bad for dogs and I'm worried that these chews might be bad for her too?

The products i feed are TRIXIE ducky stripes and Dogman lambmix.

Can i feed lamb, salmon and especially duck (her favorite)? Are there hard/dried treats you recommend?

As long as they are not made in China and aren’t rawhide they are fine. I unsterstand a chewy puppy lol mine still hasn’t grown out of it. Do y’all have nylabones over there?

Wish I could be more helpful. My late little one turned her nose up at most of the chew treats I bought for her. I was forever sharing opened but unused bags of treats with the neighborhood.

*Says three reviews, but one is duplicate. All reviews were from 2014.

The Dogman Lambmix (Lammix) seems to be a European product. Here's a link to the company's page in Norway, but sorry, I can't read Norwegian: Lam mix - Product Standard - Velkommen til Dogman - Lam mix

I did a google translate of the Dogman Lammix page and found this:

"Delicious natural chewing gum. Dried lamb products, without additives. Give them as a reward or when you want to give your dog something extra good."

It sounds like it's 100% pure lamb jerky, so it should be safe, so long as the company is reliable.

Thank you for your reply! Every treat I bought is produced in Scandinavia or imported from Germany. We have nylabones and she doesn't seem to care. I also have this thing https://imgur.com/a/gVFPsmI it has "treats" on it but she still doesn't care for it.

Can I make chew toys more interesting somehow?

Kongs and peanut butter also don't interest her, while brain exercise like this https://imgur.com/a/SUOFm17 doesn't keep her occupied. She instantly figured it out.

OMG! Thank you for doing the research I should've done. Didn't come to my mind to read online reviews. I did read the ingredients list and it didn't say salt is added. I won't feed this treat anymore.

Thank you so much! I wasn't sure because pig ears have such a bad reputation. I'll keep supervising her while chewing!

No way to really get her interested if she doesn’t like them. My oldest hated them and and youngest loves them so I think it just depends on the pup.
