Zignature Turkey Formula So it appears that Deuce has a sensitivity to chicken and chicken derivatives - meal etc.. We stopped the Royal Canin ID Dry food and have been feeding him Hills ID Turkey wet food and fortiflora and he is doing great. I wanted to add a crunchy product We are now trying Zignature Turkey Formula limited ingredient formula. We are starting it as a treat. 3 to 4 kibbles a day. All going well so far. Does anyone here know anything about this product? I have the ingredients only concern is the higher fat and protein in it. |

Apparently chicken allergies are pretty common. I hope the Hills works for you. I'm not familiar with "Zignature Turkey Formula." Posting here in the hope someone else does. |
The problem with non prescription food for actual allergies is that they are all cooked in the same plant so all foods in that plant come in contact with each other so if even there is suppossed to be no chicken in it you will still find chicken in it. That is why when Callie first had symptoms of IBD (which is caused by food allergies) every food I tried still gave her the symptoms even if some made them slightly less. |
Well the Zignature Turkey Formula did not work for him. Although I did have my doubts since it has a high fat and protein content. His tummy is used to low fat lower protein. Currently all is going well on the Hills ID with turkey and a half packet of Fortiflora at each of his two meals. For treats i use vegetables like carrots, green beans or frozen peas. He's doing fine now. |
