Yorkie cough My Cheeki-bee has got a cough at night but it's more like if she is not getting oxygen, the vet says she will get better by herself as time goes on,anything you guys advice I can get from the pharmacy,it's been going on for quite some time now |
What does your vet think it is? |
He did not specified. |
I would go to a different vet because if she is sick she more then likely needs an antibiotic. |
I agree with this comment. Were trachea issues ruled out? Quote:

How old is she and did your vet tell you why she/she thought she would, put grown it? |
She is not sick and eat and playing. Is only most at night. The vet said she will grown out when she getting bigger. Iam giving her lemon medication, borsdruppels and steam her at night. The vet said that she will growing it out when she is growing. The vet also said when she is bigger than can take extras. |
If you are still concerned I would get a second opinion. Good luck! |

Thank you will do |
Hi, I am not sure if I understood your first post where you said it is like she is not getting oxygen? Is this what you meant cause it sounds to me like you said she is having trouble breathing mostly at night. If so then this is a definite cause for concern and I do not understand why your vet would tell you she would outgrow this problem of not getting oxygen. I also agree that I dog does not outgrown a cough problem. If they cough there is a reason.I hope you find the solution and the reason for this problem. |
I will take her to second opinion. She was better this week. Yesterday she run into the water when I was busy give water to the grass. Now she is sick again. I think she had allergy or sinus. Will see who she is doing. Then will take her to another vet. To take tests or sonar. |
How OLD - what is the AGE of this dog...??? What VACCINES has this dog received? |
