In Chewie's case, her entire littler (three of them) were super small with Chews actually being the biggest. Her Dam and sire were 8 and 6.2 (I cant' remember but it was under 6.5.) respectively. Chewie likely won't hit that weight.
I also know a resident here who, surprisingly, has a yorkshire, not mixed with anything. He's just humongous. 20 pounds. He spent SO much money (this guy makes me giggle and irritated at the same time) for this guy he named after a marvel comic hero. Apparently had a "half teacup" (lol!) mother. If what he tells me is true, no way in heck should this sturdy fellow weigh this much, if you go by parents alone. :D
*Disclaimer for those in the teapot club, and for a certain lady on here who had a gorgeous and sleek 17 pound gal, I only say I was surprised by our resident as I saw a judge judy case that was sold a yorkshire. This dog was very definitely NOT yorkshire, and this is despite the papers she had. Not only was it HUGE (I think he) just didn't have all the features. Same with resident's dog looking off. Just not as much as this one. Marvel hero is adorable, though. |
