Food Recommendations? Any food recommendations? My princes have had soft stools lately with kibble n bits and hamburger |
I would look at hills science diet or Royal canin. They both put lots of research into their foods and do feeding trials. |
Kibble n Bits and Hamburger will do it lol. Kibbles n bits is probably one of the worst quality foods out there. As to not shock the system -- maybe try Purina Beyond -- it's a step up for sure but it shouldn't be TOO rich for his belly (or your wallet!) and they sell it most everywhere. It's my 'quick go to' food if I run out of our Acana he usually eats and he always does well on it. |
Dog I am studying dog foods . I use wellness. I like merrick. Look at the ingredients on the bag and make sure there is no corn or by products. Use a high quality food not some grocery store stuff. Vets push science diet. I dont. Some like royal canin. I dont. Do your homework and research foods on line . Healthy yokes deserve it. |

I would recommend feeding raw first and foremost - like Primal or Natures Variety - or - add your own raw meat and use Better In The Raw. If you want kibble, then I'd recommend Natures Logic Venison. |
Dog I still have not decided what food to feed my yorkies. My vet is not for a raw food diet. Corn and by products are not supposed to be good for dogs. What is working for your yorkies. Please help |

NutriSource My 6- month-old is doing well on the NutriSource Seafood for small dogs. Tried him on the Science Diet and he wouldn't eat it. The breeder had him on the NutriSource so we went back to it. |
I like Acana, they do there own food |
I like Acan, they do there own food |
Dog food I really appreciate your helpful post on food. So many choices. Is dog food advisor a truthful source? I am still open to suggestions. |

I myself am a huge proponent of raw and whole food diets and generally feed a mix of The Honest Kitchen and raw. At this point, I've seen so many benefits, you couldn't pay me to feed kibble to my dogs. |
What about Balance dry food? Is Balance good to use? |
