HELP! Growth on Yorkie ): Hey everyone. I am new to YorkieTalk and would really appreciate some advice on the growth I found on my angel. Max is 7 years old, & I adopted him from the shelter about a year and a half ago. I found a small growth on his cheek almost 1 year ago but was convinced by family and the nurse who updated his vaccines that it was nothing to worry about. I'm in a lot of distress because it has since doubled its size. It does not bother or hurt him when I touch/examine the growth. It does not leak blood or any other sort of fluid. It is attached to his cheek at one middle point, kind of like a balloon hanging on firmly. Any advice or thoughts are appreciated. I will be taking him to the vet as soon as I have some funds, but right now it is difficult because of college expenses): |
This could just be a benign follicular or sebaceous cyst, which many dogs get. Since it's by the mouth, it may need to be removed since it's getting bigger. |

Look into Care Credit. They approve over the phone in minutes. Each vet's office handles Care Credit differently, so check with the office about their terms. For charges of $200 or more, they offer interest-free financing for 6 to 24 months with small monthly payments. |
