buster Hi our Yorkie buster is favouring his rear leg limping and not putting any weight on it, yet we cannot find any discomfort when we touch and examine his leg and paw, but as I said he will not put ant pressure on it this is now 2 weeks, would appreciate any feedback off someone that may have experienced the same,, thx |
Poor guy. Definitely time to see the vet. Luxating patella (knee problem) and Legg-Calve-Perthes (hip problem) are common to Yorkies and can cause them to hold up a leg. The LP is very common. Another possibility is Lyme Disease. Could be an injury that you cannot detect a flinching pain with physical exam. |
You need to go to the vet asap |
I must agree, time too see your vet. |
I agree with seeing the vet. I've never known my lil boy to limp around for more then a day two at the most |
Definitely hit up the vet. Jackson was completely holding up his rear leg years back and same thing - did not seem in true pain otherwise, when I moved it, touched it, etc. Turned out to be lymes disease! A round of doxycycline and pain meds fixed the problem in days. But we did x-rays as well to be sure. |
