Has anyone used Prednisone 5mg and Clavamox 62.5 mg I need to know if anyone has used these two meds on a 5# toy yorkie. If so, any bad reactions?? Just got these from vet for Deucy's red sores on his back. I won't give them unless I know for certain that nobody else has had problems with these meds. Awaiting answers and thank you so much. |
I have used both meds on numerous pups without any issues at all. Hope this helps! :) |

Thank you, Lady Jane. Lovetodream, too many vets in my area have killed too many of my animals. Hence my checking with those here. Yes, don't think anybody knows this more than me. |
Are the red spots pyoderma aka "hot spots"...? If so, very odd they gave you Clava as the gold standard for treating this condition is Simplicef x 30 days. The Clava may not work for this, just fyi... |
Vet never did say what the sores were. The tech that works there said she thought it looked like staph. But vet never did say. Yes, I asked for those who will post "Did you ask?" Deucy is my life!!! I will research hot spots and see if they look like what he has. Thank you for excellent feedback and for positively contributing to this thread!!!! |

Yes. I always look up any med given to me from Vet. Already did this. Also am aware that Spagh is common and lives ever where. I only wanted advise about what I posted. |
