I need help with my picky eater! I'm new here and this is my first post. I guess you can tell by the topic what's up LOL. We have a 7 month old bundle of joy, wide open with energy keeps us on our toes. Her name is Sophie Marie, we just call her Sophie, she filled the empty nest for the wife here sense the kids all grew up and moved away (10 minutes across town). Sophie has never liked kibble, we had her on Wellness wet as a young puppy and tried to switch her to the dry but she would not eat it only pick at it. Long story short we have to add a topper to her food which isn't the best out there and we really want what's best for her. We've recently tried to get her to eat Taste of the Wild puppy but she's not having it just looks at it and walks away. We don't give her table food, she does eat twice a day but we just want a good food for her that we don't have to add so much to it before she will eat it. Thought about going back to a wet food like Wellness Core. Any suggestions would be appreciated, Sophie is happy and healthy but just would like to get he off the junk food. |
Hello, for us having a picky eater baby it's so hard to find the right food for them but I surpass those situation I tried a lot of good reputation food and it's not work it's all gone waste, and one day i ask some nutritionist about what the best food for a picky eater and my searching end up with this exoticonlinepetstore and try to use their product eukanuba medium breed puppy food and it really works for her and finally she is not picky eater anymore. |
If she doesn't prefer kibble but loves wet, I'd just chuck the kibble entirely and feed the wet. The wet is way less processed than the dry kibble anyway. Is there some reason you're hesitating w/ feeding only wet? Wet is great - nothing wrong at all w/ feeding only that. I feed raw by Primal or NV, and love it. That's an excellent option too. |

Fussy eater Hi i am new to the site ,my first writing just asking what types of food you guys feed your yorkies? Holly is 2 .1/2 dont like dog food ..dry or wet ,she will eat ,chicken /beef /fish all the veg & wondered if its too late to introduse dry feed ? Or just carry on as usual shes not under weight so what do you think ? |
Try Royal Canin PUPPY food......the kibble is softer for babies to chew, and it is packed with flavor for those sensitive puppy taste buds....baby may just like it. |
