worried My yorkie is 2 1/2 years old . Recently I noticed that when I take him for walks, he loses his balance and falls , he picks himself right up and continues his walk . Can anyone tell me what is the matter with him ? |
He really needs to go to a vet asap! |
There are things that dogs can have , either hereditary and/or congenital that can have this as a symptom AAI & Chiari & Liver shunt are some of them. There is also encephalitis but there are other things this could be as well. This is a serious symptom though & requires a vet visit ASAP as IF it's anything I mentioned then PROMPT & Proper treatment is required to save your pups life. |

Please, this is NOT something to wait on - he truly needs to see a vet ASAP. If you can, capture his loss of balance on video, on your phone, so you can show it to your vet. |
I am going through the same now... adding loss of eye site Remy has encephalitis.... the sooner your baby gets diagnosed and treatment the better. It could be simple or serious. Good luck btw... Remy is going wonderful with her treatments and we have hope she will live a full life. Please do not give up hope |
Please don't mind but how you hold your patience and wait for the answers instead of taking him to Vet? Again I am saying, don't mind but in such situation I won't be able to do anything else other than taking him to Vet. 2 1/2 years old and he loses his balance and falls...really feeling very sorry for him. Plz do something immediately! |
Please go to Vet now! Most likely there will be tests that take time, so please don't waste time now. Prayers for your baby |
Hope the vet, find the best treatment for your dog. |
How is your baby ? Also, this could be heart related. |
