Soft poop with chewie? I'm not sure if this is worth a vet visit. She's been on raw for two weeks. first 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 and now five pieces. Four days ago my husband when I was gone stuck her on kibble for two meals before I got home. She now prefers a mix. she's been JUST fine on the raw and kibble. She's kind of acting in pain. I didn't just add this stuff. I'm worried, especially after what she went through. she's also loudly begging for OUR food and getting especially angry when we don't give it to her .I'm hoping thar soft poop for awhile is okay here and there. The other ones have been formed. This is the very first runny one. |
I would just like to clarify when you say mix of Raw and Kibble, that you are not feeding both at the same time? Kibble and Raw digest at different rates and should not be given at the same time. |
As for your food, i'd highly suggest you not give table scraps. This is more of a training thing... you just need to be firm and consistent. It can be tempting but you need to stick to one thing, ie. it does not help to not feed table scraps, and then once a week decide you are going to. You could also try teaching a place command for when you are eating. Also not making eye contact with your pup helps. My dad feels *emotional*, so that he feels sorry and needs to give our boy table scraps. I can eat the exact same meal and my boy knows he's not getting anything and will not bother asking. I'm trying to get my dad to stop as well! (It's getting better.) If you are really worried, a vet visit never hurts! |
