Yorkie Erection First let me start by saying I'm not trying to be cute or funny I just my not know how to word this correctly. Our Yorkie is about one year old . First small dog I've ever had . This morning my small boys were playing with him and one says bobo is pooping . I look over and it isn't poop . His man hood is out and dragging the floor . He's not moving and scared . I pet him for a few mins and all goes back to normal . Is a Yorkie suppose to have man parts this big or do we have a problem ? When I say dragging the floor I'm not kidding. |
:D Aaaaah, I think you worded it beautifully!!!!! I'm really not sure how big their manhoods should be - but that does sound XXL to me? Our smallest boy, Marcel, is hung like Great Dane and I'm not even kidding - it's ridiculous! So bc of this, it sometimes gets stuck out and we have to assist him getting it back in (bc it can be dangerous if out too long). Oh the things we do for these little ones :rolleyes:! |
It is perfectly normal for a male yorkie to get an erection like that especially if they are not neutered. |
I understand your reaction. Kaji's first week home, I woke up to that surprised. I couldn't believe how HUGE Mr Peepers was. It peeks out every once in a while, or it can be seen swell up without poking out (I hope I'm explaining that right) Overall, I've only seen Mr Peeps in his full glory less than a handful of times in a 6 year span. Nothing to be concerned about. It's just part of having a boy. And yes, like Wylie's Mom said, sometimes we have to assist putting it back in. It can't stay out too long or it will dry out and that can really hurt your little boy. Usually, it's an easy fix. The skin got flipped over, or the hair is in the way. |
It's normal. They do have rather large little manhoods though! My chihuahua is well endowed for such a tiny dog. If it ever gets stuck, use a water based lubricant (yes, the kind for people) to moisten it and get it back where it belongs. If it's swollen at the base (called a knot), that must go down before it can return to the sheath. If it does not go down, a cool damp cloth will help pull the blood back into the body. |
Yup that happens with my dog, I never knew it could be that long His gets stuck quiet often and I have to put a warm cloth with sugar on it to get it back in It is dangerous if it is stuck out to long. It drives me crazy because it happens almost every week |
