Honest Kitchen Beef Bone Broth I noticed HK has come out with beef bone broth now. Has anyone tried it yet? |

Have not tried it. What would you use it for...do you mean to put it on their food...? |

HK says you can use it to moisten food or to rehydrate a dog. I'm not sure how much you would want to give a dog. I use my home made beef bone broth once in a while to put on top of kibble for extra moisture. This has turmeric in it. I am still researching the use of turmeric and its effects. |

I read about this yesterday. I'm interested in knowing more about it. If you find some good information on this, including Turmeric, please let us know. I'll do the same. |

OK, I have found a lot of info on turmeric for pets and can't find much negative except your dog may get a turmeric (orange) mustache. It is also considered a binding agent and may cause constipation if your dog doesn't get enough water to drink. If your dog has a pre existing condition, is on meds, pregnant or planning surgery always talk to your vet before you begin giving turmeric. The benefits I found are heart health, detoxifier for the liver, anti cancer, kills parasites, helps control epilepsy, good for allergies, controls formation of cataracts and helps with weight management. Wow, does this sound too good to be true? I have been reading in health magazines for people that turmeric is an ancient Chinese herb that has been known for helping in human health for a long time. |

I have never made a bone broth, but I've read they are wonderful. Turmeric is also used for inflammation because a compound in it, curcumin, has that property. Thanks for posting about this. I'm going to read more about it. |
