Food question My little buddy has trouble eating his dry food. We give him a little wet food and mix it into the dry kibble. He separates it out, leaving a mess of kibble all over the floor just to get to the wet food. I am thinking he prefers the wet to dry. Is there any reason why I can't just switch to all wet? He's five and his teeth are not in the best shape. Thanks for any suggestions or thoughts you an offer! |
I dont like the consistancy and smell of dog poo when they are on canned food, so when mine aged, I started giving the corresponding RC for that age group, and I would put just a tiny warm water in the serving swish it around and it makes just a tiny little gravy stuff, but the kibble is softened by the warm water, and they all eat it down. |
Yes, you can most definitely just feed wet if you prefer - there is nothing wrong with that at all. It's fresher than dry, in fact. |
dog Get a little chopper and chop that dry food up. Put some warm water in it. I bet the dog will eat it.my spud loves his dry food like that. |
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try them and see how he does. |
