Innovia ?? Hi Everyone I have been reading different posts and this Innovia stuff has come up alot. Can anyone tell me more about it and where to find it ? |

It's a fantastic food. It's our best seller next to the Solid Gold line that we sell at our Boutique. The new Innova Evo is selling the best. It has all the nutrients your baby needs and is all natural so none of that store bought crap in it. |
Ditto, it is really good food... we had Maddy & Gizmo on it, but we just switched to California Natural (same line made by Natura , same people, also makes Healthwise) because Gizmp has such a sensitive tummy and this new one is much simpler, meaning less protein for him! So far so good, but they love it! |

I feed 1/4 cup of Canidae and add only 1 tablespoon of Innova EVO to it as it's pretty high in protein (42%). They are both super premium foods. Look in your yellow pages for pet shops or feed stores. They carry your best brands not the ones in PetsMart or the grocery stores. |
I've been feeding my yorkies Canidae for over a year now. They eat it good and I've been happy. Today I stopped in at a dog speciality store called the Barkery that has higher quality foods, fancy treats etc. I bought a bag of Innova just to see if my guys would like it. I mixed it with the Canidae that i had left and they went crazy over the Innova...maybe they just needed a change. I think I'm going to mix them for awhile and see what happens. The lady that owns the Barkery said she thought they were both great dog foods, she carries Canidae too, but she thought the Innova was probably the best of the two. I guess its whatever you're yorkies will eat keeps them healthy. |

I got the Innova small bites. I like the small size of the kibble. They acted like it was a special treat. They were digging around in it...I had dog food everywhere. I think they're excited about a change. (The protein is 24.0%) I think that is about the same as Canidae . |

HIgh protein ... hmmmmmm --- that's exactly why my dogs loved Meow Mix so much. In fact, my one dog lived on Meow Mix for 9 years and the other for 2 years. The vet said - there is absolutely nothing wrong with a dog eating cat food. It is perfectly healthy for them -- but it is high in protein and if they have a weight problem, they shouldn't be eating cat food. My one dog was a little heavy - so I took them off the Meow Mix. **** Interestingly, the vet said that "Cats should not eat dog food." There are things they need that are not found in dog food. This information came from the Vet who works for the Purina Pet food company... You know - they make food for chickens, cows, horses, goats, dogs, cats, etc. etc. etc. I'm going to get some Innova samples for my dogs to try. Hope they like it! Carol Jean |
