Vaccinations and going out 1 Attachment(s) Hi everyone, I have a New Yorkie pup who is just 11 weeks old today. She has just had her second vaccination. I asked the vet when we could take her out and he said we would be able to in a few days but only safe places I.e not to streams and creaks. Does this mean we are able to take her out for walks to to the parks and things? Or does this just mean back garden and things? I should have clarified but didn't think. Any help greatly appreciated 😊 |
She is still not done w/ her shots, so I'd be cautious about where she goes outside. I personally would probably not take her to parks due to other dogs having been present there and the possibility of her catching something. |

Rather safe than sorry.....it is just a short wait, and well worth the "sacrifice" for your pup's health! |

Yeah your own backyard etc is fine IMO and we've always taken our dogs right away to start potty training, but just avoid dog parks, pet stores, etc, and I even don't like them to touch the floor at the vets offices either. |
