Easy Home Cooking And More I love this website ... it is run by a vet nutritionist. I have used their supplements since 2011. If you have not seen it, it is definitely worthy of a look! :) www.balanceit.com ------------ They have blends of either potatoes or oats with all supplements needed...all you do is add the protein of your choice. I prefer to make all of my own, but this is a great option for people who don't want to cook everything from scratch and add supplements. https://secure.balanceit.com/marketp...s.php?i=18&cc= https://secure.balanceit.com/marketp...s.php?i=19&cc= ----------------------------------------- They also have their own foods and have sample sizes. ----------------------------------------- And, they have a free recipe generator for individual dogs https://secure.balanceit.com/tools/recipegenerator/ ------------------------------------------ ...and also an auto EZ recipe generator with tons of options: https://secure.balanceit.com/recipeg...ver4/index.php ------------------------------------------ There are videos instructions for homecooking and other information. https://secure.balanceit.com/info/videos_aboutbi.php https://secure.balanceit.com/info/vi....php?m=cooking -------------------------------------------- Videos regarding nutritional management of common diseases: https://secure.balanceit.com/info/videos_diseases.php ---------------------------------------------- They also have a forum where you can ask the vet nutritionist questions. |
Great site, I've used Balance It since 2009. I don't trust other approaches to home cooking and prefer that a vet nutritionist guides it. |
Looks good and thanks for sharing the links. However, I have to laugh, because I thought you meant easy home cooking for humans when I opened the thread. :) |
Nice thread with all these helpful links - I think this should go in the library. Thanks for posting! |

Great post. I tried a few recipes with Callie and she never took to it sadly. Maybe my cooking sucks lol. She is a picker though and likes to eat a few bites here and a there so maybe that's why. |
1 Attachment(s) I am cooking and making up food for the dogs. I haven't eaten yet. I keep snacking on theirs. Doesn't it look delicious and healthy? Easy too, I bought cooked chicken, microwaved sweet potatoes, opened up a can of peas and boiled some eggs. Adding a few Raw veggies. I'm about to bag everything but the fish oil, since that is unstable to reheat. Attachment 405713 |

So, when you hear "feed them like family", you have a different plan than what is suggested by a certain company. :p |
