Dear 107 Barney, You said you are using the Tropiclean water additive. I wonder how you like it. I am using a different one but want to get a healthier one and I got the Tropiclean clean teeth gel the other day and thought about also getting the water additive. Thank you for your answer. |

Thank you 107Barney for your recommendation. I am going to order it for sure now. A lot of folks thought it was good in the reviews but I like a more personal recommendation. Again thanks for answering my post. |

Tropiclean water additive Hello again, I just received an email from Entirely Pets where I ordered the Tropiclean and it is on backorder and they did not say how long the wait for it might be. Thanks for your interest in whether or not Joey will like it. I sure hope he does. The ingredients look better in this one than the one I have been giving him. He will drink the water with the additive I have now but he can be picky about some things. The vet prescribed two different chewable tablets for him and he will not chew either one. Well, not entirely true as he has chewed the multivitamins a couple times but not the one for his liver. So I have tried different ways to get it into his body that were not easy. Well, I digress, sorry. I will let you know how he likes it whenever I do get it. Thanks again. Sherri |
Silver Lace, is the chewable tablet for the liver by any chance Denamarin? If so, the chewables must be chewed, but it also comes in a tablet form that does not have to be chewed. It is available on Amazon for a good price, too. My last yorkie took Denamarin for his liver for years and I could never get him to chew the chewables, so I just ordered the little blue pill. The Tropiclean water additive is also available on Amazon. :) Diana |
Hi Scooberstersmom, Yes the vet sold me Denamarin for him.He has a problem with his liver. Why would it matter if it was not chewed by him as long as it gets into his mouth and he swallows it? I smash it up and scoop it up with my finger and put it in his mouth and he swallows it. I give him a little water with a syringe too to help it go down. I will have to talk to the vet about it when I take him in Monday and see what he says about if I need to get this pill for him and this is harder to get him to take pills. He is very difficult about this. Thanks for your post. Sherri |

I personally love Tropiclean - as does he - it makes no difference to the amount of water he drinks...I've been using it for a couple of years now, and his breath is soooo much fresher since then! :D Just in case you're wondering, his poops are nice and firm and 'normal', too!!! I buy mine from Amazon - it arrives within a few days - couldn't be happier! xx |
Thank you Harry's Mum and 107 Barney for your helpful insight to the product.I just called Entirely Pets and the Tropicana water additive is not the one that was on backorder. Their email was not clear enough so now I just have to wait for it to arrive. I am excited to get it. Only wish I would have known about it, if they had it then, for my little poodle who had atrocious breathe and bad tartar and plaque. She lost so many teeth because of that though I did brush them and used a water additive. Thanks again for your help. Much appreciated. |

I use Tropiclean one/two weeks and CET one/two weeks. But now I'm thinking about using coconut oil. A friend recommended it and I've read a lot of good things about it as well. |
Thank you for answering my post Magnus. I was wondering if you even saw it. I sure appreciate the answer from you. |

That's great! I'm so glad Joey likes it. All my kiddies like it too. I have been using it for a while and still have so much left in the bottle. |
