Larger kibble size Are there any premium foods with a kibble larger in size than Orijen? Asking for a friend. :) |
I have no idea if Earth Born is referred to as "premium"....I have a friend that feeds the grain free Earth Born to her Beagle.....she said the kibble is about dime size.....? |

I remember "Gravy Train"....used to feed my dogs that when I was a kid. Seems that kibble was big....like the size of "shooter" marbles, but that is a memory thing and you know how in your memory from childhood is....everything seems much bigger from back then. Then when you revisit that place or that thing, it is nothing like your memory as far as size! |
Farmina N&D - this is awesome brand of food and has medium and large kibbles. |
Farmina is pretty huge. The Earthborn Great Plains one is probably bigger than Orijen but flatter. |
Farmina does have a medium and a large, i can't remember the actual difference between the two. Their mini puppy breed kibble is small. |
I home cook for Katie, but she doesn't eat in the morning before I leave for work. I leave a little Kibble around in case she's really hungry, and if she eats some, I give her a little less home cooked food. I mostly fed her Fromm because I trust the company and sometimes Orijen or Acana. I never thought of Orijen being big, but it's certainly bigger than Fromm. For the past two months she is eating Natire's Logic, and she seems to like it. It's also a small kibble. When trying to look this up for Kristin, I found the following article that I found interesting: http://afbinternational.com/pdf/13-0...ster_Figge.pdf |
Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I will send my friend a link to this thread. Lisa, the little article you linked is very interesting. In case anyone is having trouble with the link, try this: http://afbinternational.com/pdf/13-0...ster_Figge.pdf Max and Teddy eat Fromm too, the smallest of all kibble. They do not fit the findings of the study. I will say that I think they prefer flat vs round kibble. |

I know Chewy.com sells Farmina but you might have a local store that sells it and best way to find out is go to their facebook page and send them a message and they should be able to tell you who carries it in your area. https://www.facebook.com/FarminaUSA |
