Allergy test- ImmunelIQ I bought Immunal IQ online and sent away for the results. People say there is no way to know about food allergies in dogs. Some of the allergies to feed the test said were to Bread (from grains), tuna, yogurt, oat, wheat, green peas..... It's a 12 page report full of everything, environmental too. My first question was if anyone else has bought this and what they think. I did the allergy test at the vet and they said he had no food allergies. The vet one was blood, and this one was a cotton swab of his cheek/gums and I sent his hair. I spent $250 and the vet, and $150 on this one. My second question is he eats the Fromm for small breads and it has oatmeal in it. According to this test I should probably switch? It also said he's vitamin B deficient. I may have finally figured out why he eats his (and other dogs) poop!!! |
There is not one that works for food yet even the one that people say does has a warning on there site saying this is not a good way to test for food allergy's and that it can be wrong. |
Despite what it says on the ImmuneIQ website about the test being created and approved by veterinarians, I can't find ANY scientific literature that states that these tests are legitimate, so I would take the results with a grain of salt. |
