I have pets best for chester, my deductible is 250 and they pay 80%, I don't pay for for the teeth cleanings and shots and stuff, my vet is pretty reasonable for that stuff. I have it for big stuff, accidents, injuries and that |

I have Healthy Paws. I picked $250 annual deductible and 90% reimbursement. I pay $35 a month. I sent a claim on a Friday around 4pm and got my reimbursement about an hour later. They're quick. |

Yes, this makes sense. I assumed (wrongly) that both policies each cost as much as one comprehensive, thus, doubling the premium. Just make sure you are happy with no cover for the dental cleanings. I always advise clients to save money by buying insurance for those unavoidable things like disease and accident and pay for everything else when/if it comes up.. Unfortunately, you just never know what will or won't come up so it's all a bit of a gamble at the end of the day which is why insurance is referred to as 'risk management'. |
I don't have a problem with no dental. I'm willing to pay for anything that aspires. I understand the importance....I've been a dental assistant for the last 15 years. I brush his teeth. He recently had surgical extractions to get is upper baby canines out. It's a shame I can't just bring him to work and put him to sleep to do it. It cost me $500. That was before I had any insurance. (he was about 6 months, he's 11 months now) When I was looking for insurance I preferred an annual deductible instead of per accident. That was my main selling point. Plus no annual cap or lifetime cap. |

I wonder if enough of us submit a claim on the canine complete or balance it if they will add it or should we just call them requesting they add it. |

I wrote in to the company and asked them to consider the supplements especially for the home cooked food. They said they were actually looking into it. So is a good time to send a suggestion in. I was told that a supervisor is reviewing my suggestion. So send in your comments and maybe they will add it for us! |
I have Pets Best with Wellness. I went with a higher deductible with 100% reimbursement. With Wellness I have had shots, spay, dental covered and some others covered. I think the investment is worth it. |
