Puppy Teeth 1 Attachment(s) My Piper Girl still has some of her puppy teeth behind her adult teeth. She is 7 months now. When do they loose their puppy teeth? Attachment 400100 |
Sometimes they don't come out on their own. Usually, they are removed at the time of spay. |
Both of mine have had the same issue. It is common. I would saymajority are out by 1 yr and some change. I plan on getting teeth cleaned and they will remove excess at the time. Please make sure your vet is diligent and antibiotics are prescribed. My Mickey gets a lot of food stuck in teeth more so and I can imagine it would be easily infected if not treated properly. |

A lot of yorkies don't lose all of there baby teeth and they end up getting them pulled when they get spayed or neutered. If her health is not good enough to spay I'm not sure there is much you can do but maybe try teething like toys. |
Good info for me to know as well. Lily is my first puppy. Piper is adorable. |
