Well I have 2 seniors now! Its official! Vet told me that they are considered seniors at this point. They are 8.5 years old. My poor Fletch was so terrified of the vet yesterday. He wouldn't go near her, he was clinging to me. He went under the chair when she came into the room. This is the first time he's ever reacted this way at the vets office. Shes very passive and soft spoken so Im not sure what had him so freaked out. But my boys are both really healthy! They need dentals, and they both have yeast infections in their ears. Trying a new medication. She does not think it's food related, but this has been happening a lot in the last 1.5 years and Ive switched their food up about 5x in that time. They are now on grain free food with no chicken or beef. Other than that though, they are healthy!! Makes me a happy momma! :) Dexter is 6.8lbs and Fletcher is 12.4lbs! |
woo hoo that is awesome. Hey I found a new toxic free product called cedarcide that I am trying on my kidz to see if it will really keep them flea and tick free. I'll let you know how it pans out as I have read some mixed reviews but if I can bypass toxic I am all for it. Glad the boys are doing well. :) |

That's great--you must be doing a good job! What food are you putting them on now? My Cavalier is having constant ear infections. |
Thanks! Right now they are on FROMM... but no chicken/beef and it's grain free. Vet was a little surprised that with those 2 things that they are still getting infections. Well Fletch has not had one in awhile, but Dex is pretty regular. Fletch she had to dig deep to get stuff out of his ear and it did test positive for yeast. Poor boys! |
