All natural/organic joint supplement? My little girl had an annual exam about 4 months ago & our vet mentioned she had a SMALL sign of early arthritis. "Nothing to worry about", she said. I've been noticing more & more her joints crack sometimes. She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort, she's always running around playing with our other little boy but I want to try & prevent anything getting worse! BTW, All our furniture is really low. Anybody give they're baby yorkies a joint supplement? Again, I'm looking for all natural ☺️ Oh & she's TINY (3 pounds) so I'm cautious about anything I have to give her. |
I used to give Cosequin RS. I don't know of any "all natural" joint supp. |
MSM is a natural product. I buy it from our local health food store in powder form. I sprinkle it on their food. Jada has LP and her knees pop but since using this they rarely pop. I take it myself too. It has a lot of health benefits. |
I'm really liking krill oil. It reduces inflammation. Momo used to have lots of clicking noises on his hip, but it has reduced significantly since we've been using krill oil for couple of months now. I like that it doesn't leave a fishy smell & they love it! You can read more about it here, I sell it:D: FAQ |
The thing that REALLY concerns me...is her tiny size. A lot of supplements I've been looking at are for dogs up to 25 pounds! Any medication I've had to give her was the size of a crumb 😐 She's 3 whole pounds & almost 5. I just want to prevent her joints from getting worse. Thank you all for the awesome suggestions 😊 |
